On April 8th, 2025, V|LF-Spiro3D had the pleasure of hosting a new dissemination seminar led by Maria Vakalopoulou, entitled “Precision Medicine, AI and Longitudinal Modeling.”
The talk focused on the latest advances in the application of artificial intelligence to the medical field, with particular emphasis on precision medicine and the development of data-driven methods for clinical data analysis. Maria presented the ongoing work in developing innovative techniques for the analysis of longitudinal data, aiming to support a variety of clinical endpoints.
Key topics discussed included:
- The challenges of analyzing high-dimensional, complex data, such as volumetric medical imaging.
- Dealing with missing modalities and incomplete clinical datasets.
- Current trends and limitations in applying AI to clinical settings.
