September 30, 2025 – Seminar 15 – MR Lung Imaging 3D UTE Spiral VIBE prototype in primary immune deficiency disease.
What other MR techniques?
Opening mindsets and imaging the lungs with magnetic resonance.
Starting with a thoughtful study of the 3D UTE Spiral VIBE prototype in primary immune deficiency disease, Naïla Boudiaf (Siemens) expanded on this in her seminar, providing an overview of the latest approaches to imaging the lungs, including unusual sequences such as GraspVibe, as well as reconstructions such as iCoMoCo and PREFUL at 0.55 T.
We are now ready for single breath-hold volumetric lung imaging at 0.55 T with 2 mm isotropic resolution.
Naïla concluded by sharing resources from Siemens for reading and publishing in Magneton Flash, particularly those related to low-field MRI: https://www.magnetomworld.siemens-healthineers.com/hot-topics/lower-field-mri.
Afterwards, a joint yoga session was held!
