POLETP

Created in 2013 by field actors and supported by the Regional Health Agency, POLETP’s general mission is to support the development of the ETP in the Ile-de-France region. Its actions are aimed at creating the conditions for its users (professionals of medico-social structures, patient associations, researchers, institutions, companies…) to work together in order to co-construct sustainable solutions accessible to the greatest number of chronically ill people while seeking equity. In a position of expertise and mediation, it implements a support system, training actions, provision of resources, creates a cooperative network of exchange, experience and provides knowledge production and solutions created with and for users.

POLETP role in V|LF-Spiro3D

POLETP

In Work Package 4 (WP4), POLETP is involved in facilitating research into the medical anthropology and philosophy of 3D MR spirometry. Together with other partners such as Tilburg, they are continuously evaluating the technology through the involvement of practitioners and patients during 3D MR spirometry acquisitions. The aim is to understand the patients’ experience and perspectives, and to evaluate the impact of the technology and the degree of objectification and alienation.

POLETP is also working with various partners to use the dynamic MRI dataset to create a behavioural art-science experience. They focus on controlling the breathing patterns of the avatar according to recorded 3D MR spirometry, providing a prospective real-time LF 3D MR spirometry experience. This task involves collaboration with art-science cultural partners and enriches the interdisciplinary fabric of the project.
