APHP role in V|LF-Spiro3D

APHP

In Work Package 1 (WP1), APHP plays a key role, focusing on the foundational aspect of data collection. Specifically, APHP is involved in the implementation of 3D MR spirometry pulse sequence at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, 3D MR spirometry data acquisition in adults with an evaluation of the reversibility test in 30 COPD patients. At the same time, APHP is working with UPSaclay, Erasmus and other partners on basic data reconstruction and reference data analysis.

In Work Package 2 (WP2), APHP is involved in lung biomechanical modelling, determinants and biomarkers research, 3D MR spirometry data processing and final data visualization.

In Work Package 4 (WP4), APHP’s involvement goes beyond the technical domains. They actively collaborate with interdisciplinary partners in WP4, focusing on the integration of the project scientific endeavours with societal impact. Their role includes continuous assessment of the technology through engagement with practitioners and patients during 3D MR spirometry acquisitions. In addition, APHP conducts qualitative research and observations to understand patients’ experience and perspectives, contributing to a holistic project approach, in collaboration with Tilburg and POLETP.
